About SLP Placements
Helping make clinical placement connections easier to find
SLP Placements was created to help address one of the largest challenges in
speech-language pathology education today: finding clinical placement opportunities.
Why this directory exists
This site provides one centralized place where students and university clinical coordinators can share what they are looking for, and supervising SLPs can browse placement requests to identify potential fits.
SLPplacements.com is not intended to replace the role of university clinical coordinators. It is designed to simplify a lengthy and stressful process by helping to make potential connections more visible.
Built around practical placement criteria
- Geographic area and preferred city or metro
- SLP or SLPA program
- Semester and year
- Clinical setting and population
- Schedule and placement format
- Direct contact between interested parties
