1. About SLPplacements.com
SLPplacements.com is an independent clinical placement-request directory designed to help SLP and SLPA students and university representatives make potential placement needs more visible to licensed speech-language pathologists and other potential placement providers.
SLPplacements.com is a connection resource only. It does not act as a university, educational program, placement coordinator, employer, staffing agency, healthcare provider, licensing authority, or placement guarantor.
2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes related to clinical placement requests, browsing placement requests, or communicating about potential clinical placement opportunities.
You agree not to submit false, misleading, unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, or irrelevant content. You agree not to impersonate another person or organization, interfere with the website, harvest personal information, or use the website for spam, solicitation, or unrelated commercial activity.
3. Placement Requests and User Content
Students and university representatives may submit placement-request information such as program, university, location, semester, schedule, hours needed, desired setting or population, contact information, and other relevant details.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate, appropriate to share, and does not violate another person’s rights or confidentiality.
4. Review, Approval, and Removal of Listings
Submitted listings may be reviewed before publication to screen for spam, irrelevant content, or apparent misuse. SLPplacements.com may approve, reject, edit for formatting, deactivate, or remove a listing when reasonably necessary to operate the directory.
Publication of a listing does not mean that SLPplacements.com has verified the poster, university, supervisor, organization, qualifications, availability, or accuracy of the information provided.
5. No Placement Guarantee
Posting a listing, browsing the directory, or contacting another user does not create a placement agreement and does not guarantee that a placement will be secured.
Any potential placement must be discussed, evaluated, approved, and finalized by the appropriate student, academic program, university representative, supervisor, and placement organization.
6. Academic, Licensing, and Supervision Requirements
Users are responsible for confirming all academic, clinical, supervision, qualification, licensing, affiliation, background-check, insurance, scheduling, and program-specific requirements that apply to a potential placement.
SLPplacements.com does not determine whether a student, supervisor, organization, or proposed placement satisfies ASHA standards, university requirements, state law, licensing rules, or any other applicable requirement.
7. Contact Between Users
SLPplacements.com does not provide an internal messaging service. Posters may choose to provide an email address, LinkedIn profile, professional website, or other approved contact method. Any communication or arrangement made after contact is between the parties involved.

The website may link to third-party resources, including LinkedIn, ASHA, universities, or other external websites. These links are provided for convenience only.
