How the placement directory works

Students and universities post what they need
Students or university clinical coordinators create a placement request with details such as location, setting, dates or semester, schedule, and direct contact hours required.

Supervising SLPs browse and search
Licensed speech-language pathologists search placement requests using relevant criteria to identify students who may be a good fit for available opportunities.

Supervising SLPs make contact
Interested SLPs reach out directly to the student or university representative who posted the request to discuss requirements, availability, and next steps.

Schedule & Format
Part-time, full-time or flexible schedule, expected days per week, and remote/in-person format.

Direct or indirect hours needed and maximum willing commute from the preferred area.
What happens after contact?
Students, university programs, and supervising SLPs discuss the potential opportunity directly. They remain responsible for confirming all academic, supervision, qualification, affiliation, scheduling, and program-specific requirements before a placement is finalized.
