Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to view my placement inquiry. I’m a second-year grad student at the University of Kentucky and will be relocating to the Tampa Bay area in May of 2027. I attended Miami University (Ohio) to earn my B.S. in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology. I am hoping to complete my final rotation in the area to familiarize myself with the community and any state-specific requirements/processes related to Speech Language Pathology prior to beginning my CF requirement.
By January of 2027, I will have completed two full-time rotations. My summer rotation was in a hospital setting (inpatient and outpatientMBSS, ICU and acute care bedside swallow evals and tx, pediatric and adult outpatient, hospital employee daycare), and my current fall rotation is at a county school where I see both high school and elementary students. For the spring, I am open to any population/setting.
I’m extremely passionate about giving person-centered and individualized care. I believe every client is unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to treating communication and swallowing disorders. I love to seek answers for the “why” rather than assuming all presentations are what we see at face value. I enjoy creating specialized materials and using creativity to make sessions enjoyable for all clients.
