SLP Graduate Student Seeking an Externship for Spring 2027

I’m a speech-language pathology graduate student in my final year at Idaho State University seeking an eight-week, full-time medical externship for spring 2027. My clinical experience includes both the pediatric and adult populations, including experience with an Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program (ICAP), where I used evidence-based approaches such as semantic feature analysis (SFA), response elaboration training (RET), script training, and sound production treatment (SPT). I also have experience working with children with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) and have experience using DTTC and the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol. I have also supported clients using AAC systems such as TouchChat and LAMP. As a military spouse with experience serving clients from a variety of backgrounds, I bring adaptability, cross-cultural awareness, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative, family-centered approach.
